of which Ms. Doreen is an active member.



"Ms.Doreen", a dancer since age 3, received her early dance training with top rated N.J. Dance Studios. She began her training with Ms. Betty Lou Courtney, in Elizabeth. After moving to Edison, she continued her training under the direction of her mentor, Verne Fowler, of Colonia, NJ. Additionally, from age 12 she studied in New York City with numerous master teachers; Frank Hatchett, Luigi, Germaine Salsberg, Carolyn Dorfman, Don Farnworth, Madame Darvish and her all time favorite, Charles Kelly. Her life ambition has always focused on becoming a dance educator and owning her own studio. To this day, she continues to study in New York City and attends professional workshops and conventions. She has performed and choreographed in numerous school productions and community theater groups and was an original member of the "Park Dance Company" of Roosevelt Park in Edison. To add to her diversity, while growing up in nearby Edison, she was also an accomplished, competitive swimmer, diver and cheerleader. Ms.Doreen is a member of the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce and the Associated Dance Teachers of New Jersey, Inc. She has established her professional credibility in the dance community for over 35 years, the last 24 of which she has been owner/director of "Fabulous Feet." With her caring and dedication to excellence, Ms. Doreen presents all of her students with the solid foundation needed to become proficient dancers and performers. "Quality Education" is the slogan she stands by.

Lauren O’Shea is an alumni of Ms. Doreen’s Fabulous Feet where she grew up studying ballet, pointe, tap, lyrical, jazz, and gymnastics, as well as competing. She is a graduate of Rowan University where she received a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Elementary Education and a dance minor. While in college Lauren was the president and member of Dance Extensions, a modern dance company. Lauren received the Bryna G. Goldhaft Dance Award, which recognizes artistic excellence and contributions to the dance program and Dance Extensions. Lauren was an advanced company member of Uniting Colleges Through Tap for 4 years, a tap company that performs in Philadelphia, PA. Lauren is currently a member of a Phil based Tap company called "Take It Away Dance." She continues to take classes in the city. Lauren is the assistant director of the Competition Team at Fabulous Feet. Her tap routines contine to place in the top ten at competitions and she has won numerous Choreography Awards.

Claire Cuny began her classical Vaganova training under Alexander Vetrov, former principle dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet. She studied the Balanchine technique under Paul Mejia, former dancer and choreographer of New York City Ballet. She performed classical works with Metropolitan Classical Ballet under the two artistic directors, Vetrov and Mejia, at The Bass Performance Hall and Texas Hall. She trained at the Kirov Academy in Washington D.C. for the summer program and was invited to attend year round but declined in order to go to college. She continued her studies at Southern Methodist University on scholarship, acquiring a B.F.A. in dance performance.  She currently teaches classical ballet and modern dance at various studios, choreographs for schools and companies, and regularly performs with a NYC-based site specific and immersive dance company called Linked Dance Theatre, a multi-media performance group called Reliant Tom, and her dance and technology company, Obelus Movement. She is so excited to be back at Ms. Doreen's Fabulous Feet!

Advanced Ballet and Pointe


Bekah Howard is a NYC based dancer, choreographer, and instructor originally from central Florida. Bekah attended New York University and is an alumni of Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester. A member of the Derek Mitchell Dance Company, BEings Dance, and Koin and Co Dancers, she has performed in several contemporary dance festivals around the city including Pushing Progress, the Giving Tree, and Brooklyn Dance Festival. Bekah also has experience performing for camera and has been seen dancing on the Today Show and in commercials for K Factor Resistance Bands.


Bekah has spent much time training under and working as an assistant to Derek Mitchell, Lane Napper, Emily Bufferd, and Emily Greenwell on an array of projects. With this knowledge, she has begun a choreographic journey of her own, presenting work at "Run the Night," Peridance's APEX Showcase, the 2017 Young Choreographer's Festival, and several other shows and workshops. 


Through performance and choreography, Bekah has developed a passion for teaching and sharing, and hopes to spread creativity and light to all that she comes in contact with.

Advanced Lyrical/ Contemparary


Janele Plowden began dancing at 3 years old and is an alumni of Ms. Doreen’s Fabulous Feet where she studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical and gymnastics. She has been a part of the Nutcracker, Competition Team, Disney Team and toured Germany in 2007. Growing up at the Fabulous Feet dance home, Ms. Doreen not only taught the study of dance but also discipline, friendship and goal setting. With practice you can achieve whatever you put your focus on!  Currently studying Business Management at MCC.

Advanced Acro & Beginner Jazz


Morgan O'Shea has been a student at Ms. Doreen's Fabulous Feet since the age of 3. Throughout her time there, she has performed in numerous Nutcracker Suites. She was on the competition team starting at the age of 4, where she won numerous competition titles. Morgan attended the Rockette Summer Intensive twice, and was a model for a dancewear costume catalog. Currently, Morgan attends Stockton University where she studies Health Science with a minor in Dance. She is a captain of Stockton's Dance Team where they compete regional competitions and at the National UDA competition in Disney World, Florida. Throughout her time at Stockton, she has had the chance to work with professional choreographers and companies allowing her to expand her knowledge and grow as a dancer. 

Contemporary & Lyrical


Summer Myatt is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and teacher currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA in dance performance and minors in arts management and English from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and she is also a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Summer has performed works by Martha Graham, Joost Vrouenraets, Jose Limon, George Balanchine, Joshua L. Peugh, and Adam Houghland among others. Recently her work was commissioned for the 2017 Dallas Dance Fest at Moody Performance Hall.

Advanced Ballet & Pointe


Kelby Brown scored simultaneous achievements on stage, film and in the television world. Kelby has performed with some of the biggest stars in entertainment including Lady Gaga, Madonna, Usher and he choreographed the feature film, " Spring Breakdown", starring Parker Posey and SNL's stars Amy Phoeler and Rachel Dratch. Some of his most outstanding dance accomplishments include roles with Ballet Chicago, State Ballet of Missouri, Hartford Ballet, Los Angeles Ballet Company and the Metropolitan Opera in Lincoln Center. Kelby also danced a principal role in Los Angeles Opera's production of a Merry Widow, and as the "Oiseau", in Cirque du Soleil's Las Vegas production of "Mystere." The biggest highlight of his career came when he was asked to be a charter member of Celine Dion's highly acclaimed Las Vegas production of "A New Day", where he worked with Director, Franco Dragone and choreographer, Mia Michaels. He can be seen in the feature film, The Dance Flick, Transformers 2, SYTYCD, (dancing alongside Lady Gaga), Gossip Girl and the hit HBO series, Weeds. He has also worked with some of the top choreographers in the business including Mia Michaels, Dave Scott, Michael Rooney, Sonya Tayeh, Stacy Tookey and Tony Testa to name a few. Kelby has made appearances on MTV's House of Style, Good Day Live LA, the Today's Show, World Music Awards and Oprah Winfrey. Choreography credits include the opening number of the 20th anniversary Kid's Choice Awards, starring multi-platinum selling recording artist, Justin Timberlake and Opera Noire's homage to the legendary Arthur Mitchell, founder and director of Dance Theatre of Harlem. Kelby Brown began his professional dance and entertainment career at a young age, and successfully parlayed his experiences into choreography and teaching both nationally and internationally. Kelby has been on the dance faculty with Celine Dion, and at the infamous Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, Millenium Dance Complex in LA, as well as The School of Ballet Chicago, State Ballet of Missouri and Champs Charter High School of Performing Arts. He has taught on numerous dance conventions including Dance Masters of America, The Pulse, LA Dance Force and Urban Jamm. Kelby trained at Walnut Hill School of the Arts in Boston and continued his training at the prestigious School of American Ballet, (the official school of the New York City Ballet). At the same time, he also studied hip hop, jazz, tap and contemporary. Kelby went on to build a career that includes everything from principal roles with classical ballet companies to film, television, choreography and hosting credits. Kelby continues to work as a dancer, actor and choreographer in numerous live industrials, commercials, stage and tv/film productions.

Keara Hailey Gordon has been teaching performing arts for over 10 years. She is a certified teacher currently employed at Chatham Day School in Chatham, NJ where she teaches music, theatre, and movement to grades PS through eighth grade. She also holds a BA in Fine Arts from Rider University. Keara has been a professional actress, singer, and dancer since the age of nine, making her professional acting debut in 1986 in the Whitney Houston video, "The Greatest Love of All" where she portrayed a young Whitney. Keara has performed in many productions regionally, on tour and Off-Broadway. Some of her favorites include Junie B. Jones (Lucille) off- Broadway at the Lortel Theatre, A Year with Frog and Toad (Mouse) at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia, PA, a tour of Ain't Misbehavin' (Charlayne) with the Irving Street Reparatory Theatre , and Little Shop of Horrors (Crystal) at the Lycian Theatre in Sugar Loaf, NY. In 2002 Keara was cast in the "Wizard of Oz" at the Forum Theatre as Dorothy where she not only met her husband Eben, but she found pure joy in sharing her love of Theatre with children.
